This shoot was inspired by a cozy, nostalgic feeling I had while looking through some vintage photos at an antique store. I love the idea of shooting in your own home, where I’m able to freeze what life looked like for you at a certain time in your life, in this case just before Mo’s sweet little Shepard was born. This little babe will someday grow up and be able to look back at this sweet time just before he came into the world and changed their lives forever. It feels so special and so right.
After shooting in their beautiful home, we drove to a dreamy spot down by the river to capture Mo’s pregnancy glow out among the tall trees that felt pretty magical.
