Oregon Boho Rustic Elopement Inspiration
I’ve lived in Central Oregon for almost four years now. There are a few things that come to mind when I think about Bend— craft beer, amazing food, outdoor sports & hiking, dogs, and a beautiful view no matter where you go. I remember thinking how it seemed like everyone who lived here was on vacation..all the time. It’s fun and relaxing, and a super sweet place to get married.
I dreamt about an elopement that encapsulated my thoughts of Bend and got in touch with some amazing local vendors. We created the most cozy and fun elopement styled shoot that I could think of. I couldn’t have done it without these amazing vendors:
Venue: White Aspen Creative
Florals: Woodland Floral Design
Dress: Daughters of Simone @westandwayward
HMUA: Classic Beauty by Heather
Morrocan Rug: Root Adorned
Menswear: Revolvr Menswear
Invititation Suite: Jenny G Designs
For the venue, I contacted Jess of White Aspen Creative. I previously had shot in the space and loved the bright white, open and dreamy feel. It’s available for rent and I highly recommend it for the perfect place to have your intimate wedding or reception.
I got in touch with Woodland Floral Design in Sisters for the florals, and i’m so glad I did! I contacted her last minute after having trouble locking down a florist last minute, and even as busy as she was she provided the most dreamy florals and was a joy to work with.
Classic Beauty by Heather did the hair and makeup on my “bride” Nikki, and knocked it out of the freaking park. My “groom” Taylor was outfitted by Revolvr Menswear based in Bend. They’re ridiculously helpful and so kind, and it really is an amazing place to get menswear for a wedding, be it for the groom or the groomsmen.
Nikki wore a Daughters of Simone dress from alll my boho dreams, I tell everyone I know looking for a unique and dreamy wedding dress about them. (I was able to use the dress from my sweet friends West and Wayward, and is available to photographers to rent! Go check them out.)
Jenny G Designs is a freaking GEM of a human and I’m so glad to know her after reaching out for this shoot! Jenny went above and above on the invitation suite for the shoot and brought along multiple color options and even a tapestry and some lace just for fun. She seemed to know exactly what I wanted without having a clue how to describe it to her. I highly recommend her!
And last but not least, the INSANE moroccan rug from Root Adorned. Ever since I stepped through their door a year + ago, I’ve dreamed of shooting with their beautiful rugs. It’s such a beautiful light filled store including their rugs, plants, and artisan goods.
Okay that’s all folks, thanks so dang MUCH for following along —
