Smith Rock Oregon Micro Wedding
Kristen and Tyler’s journey from Maryland to Oregon for their destination wedding was such a testament to their adventurous spirits and love of nature. The way they seamlessly blended their wedding celebration with a vacation for their closest friends and family spoke volumes about their laid-back and inclusive approach to life. It was a joy to witness their love story unfold against the backdrop of Smith Rock State Park, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them!
Vendors:
Ceremony Venue: Smith Rock State Park Amphitheatre
Getting Ready/Reception Venue: Airbnb
Hair and Makeup: Edge Hair and Makeup
Florals: Posie Shoppe
Officiant: Reverend Chris Lewis
Catering: Bleu Bite
After the ceremony, Kristen and Tyler piled into the party bus back to the Airbnb, when it unexpectedly broke down on the side of the road. Luckily, I was driving back separately with some of their family, so we headed back to meet them on the side of the road before driving them back to the airbnb ourselves. As I stood on the side of the road with Kristen and Tyler, watching as they took in the beautiful rainbow behind them, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for getting to know such amazing couples. Their wedding day was not without its challenges, but they approached each one with grace and laughter, reminding me of the importance of staying grounded and appreciating the small, unexpected moments that make life so fun.
As a photographer, I am constantly reminded of the power of capturing timeless, heartfelt moments that will be cherished for years to come. Kristen and Tyler’s wedding day was full of these moments – from the quiet, intimate exchange of vows to the uproarious laughter during the reception. Their easygoing nature and sense of humor made my job a breeze, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this day.
In the end, it is the connections we make and the memories we create that truly matter. Kristen and Tyler’s wedding day was a beautiful reminder of this, and I am grateful to have been able to capture their love story in all its glory.
