1. House on Metolius: Camp Sherman, OR

This Central Oregon outdoor wedding venue is an absolute dream for couples who want serenity and a serious “wow” factor. Tucked away in Camp Sherman, House on Metolius sits right on the river giving it a very “mountain ranch” feel to it. The ceremony area gives a full panoramic view of Mt. Jefferson and is surrounded by towering pines. It feels like an adult summer camp that’s private, peaceful, and totally unique.

The Reception area here sits right on the patio of the main building, which means you get both indoor and outdoor vibes. As the sun begins to set, Oregon’s starlit sky will leave you in awe.

House on Metolius accommodates up to 42 guests on-site, plus vintage-chic cabins scattered across the 200-acre property, this is one of the most intimate and scenic Central Oregon outdoor wedding venues I’ve worked at.

Built in the 1930s, Skyliner Lodge brings rustic charm and forest vibes just minutes outside of downtown Bend. While it’s not ideal for huge weddings, it’s perfect for smaller, nature-filled gatherings. 

The ceremony area sits right on the lake and is surrounded by towering pines. Afterwards you and your guests can enjoy an intimate meal in the lodge itself. If you’re looking for a cozy, historic venue that oozes character, this is your spot.

5. Loloma Lodge: Blue River, OR

Imagine a fall wedding woodland fairytale, complete with tall pines and the McKenzie River flowing nearby. Loloma Lodge is one of the most enchanting Central Oregon outdoor wedding venues, and it has overnight accommodations for up to 125 guests in glamping tents and cozy cabins. 

If you’re set on an outdoor wedding, this wedding venue is great for full-weekend experiences and intimate vibes for a wedding in the woods.

One of my couples chose to celebrate their winter wedding at Tetherow Resort, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The bride brought the space to life with vibrant red bridesmaids’ dresses and bold, colorful florals. It was an unexpected but stunning contrast against the neutral winter backdrop. Then, as if on cue, a spontaneous snowstorm rolled in… and it turned the whole day into pure magic.

Want a farm wedding that still feels chic? Rainshadow Organics offers lush gardens, scenic farmland, and a warm, welcoming vibe. This working organic farm is one of the most charming outdoor wedding venues in Central Oregon, perfect for couples who love the idea of saying “I do” surrounded by flowers and fresh air.

One of the more unique features of this Central Oregon wedding venue is all of the add ons they provide. Not only can they take care of florals and food (bar and bartender, too!), but they also offer a brunch for the day following the wedding. Lake Creek Lodge is a rustic and romantic Central Oregon wedding venue tucked into the woods of Camp Sherman.
