White Aspen Creative: A Bend Oregon Wedding Venue
Compared to many lodges and similar venues in the area, White Aspen Creative is a modern Bend Oregon wedding venue. The interior of the building has vaulted ceilings and beams painted white. With the many windows letting in sunlight on the hardwood, the room feels bright and airy. It’s a great venue whether you’re doing minimal DIY or going hard on decor because its minimalist interior makes it easy to decorate to fit any theme.
As lovely as the White Aspen is inside, the Bend Oregon wedding venue has space for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The modern architecture blends with the forest around it for a cool ceremony backdrop. There are so many locations for beautiful portraits too! Emily, Ian, and I had a good time exploring the trees and meadows around the venue to capture some intimate couples photos.
White Aspen Creative is in Bend, a town in the heart of Central Oregon. The Deschutes River runs through, and the scenic Cascade Mountains are to the west. Bend is a great wedding destination for couples who love outdoor adventures.
Emily and Ian’s Intimate Wedding
Emily and Ian’s wedding at White Aspen Creative was in the works for a while before they were finally able to have it. They agree that it was worth the wait through the pandemic, though! The couple met about five years ago working in Portland. After dating and living together in NE Portland, they moved to Bend. They bought their first house there.
Ian proposed on a snowy March day by the Deschutes River. It was down to earth and romantic like their whole relationship. When asked how she knew Ian was the one, Emily explained that they can do everything and nothing together. Either way, she knows they’ll have the best time! Who could ask for more?
For their White Aspen Creative wedding, Emily and Ian hired a wedding coordinator, Ponderosa Planning, so they got to enjoy the process and the day more. They got to relax on their wedding day and concentrate on each other! Even when things didn’t go exactly as planned, they rolled with it to stay focused on what mattered.
Photographing Emily and Ian’s day at this Bend Oregon wedding venue was so much fun! They kept each other laughing from the first look to tearing up the dance floor.
